Pokemon was a big hit in the 90’s, and
to this day the series has captured the love and adoration of many of the same
fans that loved it when it was new. Now let me introduce to you, and YouTube
channel that talks all about Pokemon, in a well-organized way! TheNationalDex!
The
National Dex is a YouTube channel that talks about a new Pokemon every week,
discussing trivia, facts, and even battle strategy. Now having over 100
episodes, they decided to make a special video to commemorate, with a video
talking about the protagonist (and final boss) of the classic Gameboy games, Red!
Alex and Kellie
took to deciphering the facts and trivia behind the player character in the
original red and blue games. A lot of the facts were very interesting, Red
being the silent protagonist makes him easy to associate with as a player. And
then his team in the sequels, Gold and Silver, where he is the final boss, has
all the Pokemon that were handed to you in Pokemon Red and Blue. He’s a great
character, despite being so simple. And with all these new Pokemon games, it’s
nice to look back at the series roots, and this video definitely talks a lot
about the nostalgia. But what do you think?
